A documentary by Alon Schwarz

What if everything you’d been told about your past was a lie? What if your sense of identity, family, religion and home were turned completely upside down? What if the people closest to you knew the truth, and kept it secret from you for your entire life? The film tells the exciting and emotional story of the brothers Izak and Shep who met for the very first time at the age of 60 and together discover many dark family secrets. The key figure in the whole story is their mother Aida who would prefer not to talk about the past.
